Anchoring is an important structural element of the shoring works that needs to be installed with great precision. Each and every anchor that we install is done in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards. After the anchors have been installed we adopt the practice of getting it SIGNED OFF by our suitably qualified engineers.
We install all types of Temporary and Permanent Ground Anchors, Rock bolts, Soil Nails, and Self Drilling Anchors.
Temporary & Permanent Strand Anchors
Strand Anchors are very versatile and are used in many applications. They can accommodate very high loads. Anchors of up to 2000 metric tonnes have been installed and tensioned. KPS Civil Contractors can design and install the following:
Soil Nails & Rock Bolts

Soil Nails are commonly used to stabilise the faces of cut slopes, in order to reduce excavation quantities by the creation of steeply inclined stable slopes to the faces of excavations. Rock Bolts are typically used in tunnel, shaft and cavern construction as well as in slope stabilisation.
Self Drilling Anchor

This system eliminates casing drilling. Grouting while drilling improves and consolidates the soil. Due to this process the anchor achieves higher bond values than most post grouting systems
